This is made from a mixture of grape juice and alcohol. In our case we use some 96% neutral alcohol as for the other liqueurs.

After pressing, alcohol is added to the grape juice which kills off the yeasts and thus no fermentation takes place.

Ratafia is drunk as an aperitif
